HCF Festival of Houses and Gardens

Historic Charleston Foundation’s (HCF) 76th Annual Festival of Houses and Gardens runs from March 15 – April 16, 2023. The festival comprises an array of educational tours and events that explore the area’s significant cultural and architectural landscapes and historic events in the Charleston region, from over 350 years ago to present day.

Tour some of Charleston’s most beautiful homes and gardens on historic streets including King Street, Tradd Street, Legare Street, and new for 2023, a Montagu Street tour. In addition to these tours, there are several other interesting options offered during the festival. Enjoy a new lineup of exciting speakers in the Food for Thought Lecture series; experience refreshed Live Like a Local events such as workshops, musical programs, and sunset historic harbor cruises; and sign up for one of the HCF’s acclaimed Morning History Walks with licensed tour guides.
