Become “Greek for the Weekend” May 12 to May 14, 2023, when the 52nd Annual Charleston Greek Festival returns. Lowcountry residents and visitors are invited to the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 30 Race Street, to feast on Greek foods from salads to moussaka, roasted lamb, gyros and pastries. Sample some Greek wines and beers. Enjoy performances of local Greek dance troupes. Take a guided tour of the church. Stroll through the arts and crafts booths located on the church grounds.
The festival runs Friday, May 12, 5-10 pm; Saturday, May 13, 11 am-10 pm; and Sunday, May 14, from noon to 6 pm. There will be free parking and a shuttle service at the Harborview Office Tower, 19 Hagood Avenue, Charleston.
