The Seabrook Island Garden Club is happy to announce the winners of the annual most patriotic mailbox decorating contest for 2023!
Thank you to everyone who participated! Please make sure you make your way around the island over the next several days to see the winning mailboxes and all of the festive mailboxes.
1st Place: 2453 Golf Oak Park was a winner with our judges! This mailbox display is a wonderful, summertime, July 4th celebration, complete with a beautiful floral arrangement, beach chair, umbrella, fireworks, a picnic spread at the beach, and more! So well done and perfect salute to Independance Day.
2nd Place Tie: 3510 Deer Run & 3241 Seabrook Island Road were both so creative and fun! It was too close to call! A God Bless America meets Under the Sea creation was like nothing we’ve ever seen, and Let Freedom Ring is a red, white and blue explosion of celebration. Both displays made our judges smile!
3rd Place: 2465 The Bent Twig is a Happy Birthday party for the USA, featuring a sparkly cake, lots of candles and more.
We hope everyone had a fun and safe July 4th celebration on Seabrook Island!
