
Chamber Music Charleston’s (CMC) newest set of concerts bring award-winning musicians to the Charleston Lowcountry for performances that inspire, entertain, and leave you breathless. Here are the highlights of the September calendar.
Fiesta on the Square

Hutchinson Square Park, Summerville
Join us as we celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a special program of music featuring acclaimed Argentinian Bandoneon player and composer J.P. Jofre, virtuoso violinist Francisco Fullana, and local musician Luigi Bravo of Latin Groove. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public. Food trucks will be on hand to provide some of the finest cuisine from Central and South America.
Tango Meets Classical

Sottile Theater
The new “Chamber Music with Friends” series opens with a celebration of modern Argentinian music as part of Hispanic Heritage Month. The program features acclaimed Argentinian Bandoneon player and composer J.P. Jofre, along with virtuoso violinist Francisco Fullana and musicians of CMC. The concert concludes with Richard Strauss’ blazingly energetic Piano Quartet in C minor. For tickets, click here.
