There are some recent delays in several of the road improvements in our area. Below is a list of some of these delays as well as a link explaining them in more depth:
- The Main Road Corridor Segment A (aka US Route 17 and Main Road flyover) contract award was delayed from Q4 of 2023 to Q1/Q2 of 2024.
- The Main Road Corridor Segment C (aka Bohicket Road) public meeting was delayed from Oct. 2023 to early 2024.
- The Main Road and Mary Ann Point Road safety audit was released.
- The repaving of upper River Road (Main Road to Maybank Highway) was delayed from 2023 to 2024.
