Prestigious Blue Note recording artist and Grammy-nominated musician Melissa Aldana is a Chilean-born tenor saxophonist and the first female instrumentalist and the first South American musician to win the Thelonious Monk International Jazz Saxophone Competition. The concert will include originals the hits of her saxophone heroes, including John Coltrane, Benny Golson, Wayne Shorter and Joe Henderson.
