Roots powerhouse duo The Small Glories are Cara Luft and JD Edwards, a musical tour-de-force partnership planted on the Canadian Prairies. Join Lowcountry Voices for an evening of gospel, spirituals, hymns, jazz, and more. Now entering its eleventh season, this multicultural and ethnically diverse choral group performs all genres of choral music, emphasizing African-American music performed in the South Carolina Lowcountry tradition. The group was honored to provide music at the nationally televised services for the Honorable Reverend Clementa Pinckney, the slain pastor of the Mother Emanuel AME tragedy, and to provide background singing behind President Obama’s touching rendition of Amazing Grace.

The Town of Kiawah Arts and Cultural Events Council works to enhance community appreciation and involvement in the performing arts within the Town of Kiawah Island and its environs by providing a diversity of planned programs.
