Fall has finally arrived and Freshfields has several events celebrating this time of the year.
Starlight Cinema, which was rescheduled due to rain, will start at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 20. The featured movie is Hocus Pocus. Three 17th-century witches, hanged for their murderous crimes, are resurrected on Halloween in modern-day Salem by an unsuspecting boy, who must now figure out how to get them back in the ground. PG, 1994, 95 minutes.
Cars & Coffee on Saturday, October 21 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Check out the unique, antique and other cool cars.
Dogtoberfest on Saturday, October 28 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm on the village green. Guests are invited to bring their furry friends to the Village for a pet expo to benefit local rescue organizations. The Pet Expo is free and family friendly with activities including an adoptable meet & greet with local rescue groups, pet vendors, pet costume contest and music. The pet costume contest will be at 4:00 pm!
Native Plant Sale – Join the Kiawah Conservancy and Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy at Freshfields Village on Friday, November 3 from 3:00-5:00 pm for a Native Plant Sale. Enjoy refreshments and live music as you chat with local experts about natives to plant in your yards. This event is open to the public and there is no need to register.
Live Music On the Patio at FortyEight Wine Bar every Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:30 pm. Enjoy the live music featuring local artist, Austin Hahn
Jazz Night at Porch Bar at Andell Inn on Thursdays from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm featuring a local group.
