SINHG mourns the recent death of historian Doug Bostick, the scheduled presenter for November 9, 2023 evening program on the history of Seabrook Island. A popular leader of many SINHG history-focused trips for members and the author of 26 books on South Carolina and Civil War history, Doug had led for many years the South Carolina Battleground Trust as its executive director. SINHG honors his legacy.
