Preliminary Election Results for Seabrook Island Nov 7

The Lake House polling location closed promptly at 7:00 pm this evening. There are 2,437 registered voters on Seabrook Island. There were 1,103 people who voted in person today at The Lake House. The numbers reflect only those who voted in person today, thus the numbers may change once all the ballots are counted.

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, a hearing will be held at the Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections office to certify all in-person and absentee ballots. The Town of Seabrook Island will publish the official certified results on its website when they receive them. Tidelines will let Seabrookers know when it is available.

You can also go to scvotes.org (scroll down to Seabrook Island) to see the unofficial results that will be updated when the votes are certified.

A special thanks to all the poll workers for their vital role in assuring a safe and secure election. In addition to participating in training prior to the election, on Election Day they arrived at the Lake House at 6:00 am to set up and stayed past 7:00 pm to put everything away.
