When: Monday, February 19 at 6:00 pm
Where: Live Oak Hall – The Lake House
Featuring: Our local therapy dogs, Andy, Griffin and Whiskey and their “handlers” Mary Jane Devins, Deb Nerhood and Meg Davidson. Get ready to discover the world of therapy dogs and their impact on our community!
SIDOGS, the Seabrook Island Dog Owners Group, invites all Seabrook Island residents to attend our Annual Meeting. We are always looking for new members, so please join us to learn about the good work SIDOGS does for the Seabrook Island community.
On this year’s agenda, the officers will provide a brief annual review of 2023 for the SIDOGS organization. We will then present our special guests – Seabrook Island’s “therapists” who will share insights into what a “therapy dog” truly is, their impactful roles, the training process, and much more. It’s an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and connect with fellow dog lovers.
As in past years, SIDOGS will also be collecting charitable donations for a local organization. This year we will be collecting for Southern Tails for Precious Paws, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based on Johns Island. Click here to learn more about them. We will also be raffling off a fabulous gift basket of dog toys enerously donated by N-Gage.
As the meeting will be held during dinner time, we will have a potluck meal. If you can, please bring either an appetizer, main dish, or dessert to share. BYOB, SIDOGS will provide water and soft drinks. Please leave your furry friends at home!
For more information about the event or SIDOGS, please visit our website, sidogs.org or contact us at siseadogs@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
