Seabrook’s Seabikers Ride the Lowcountry Event in Awendaw

The “Seabikers” is a group of Seabrook women you may see in the morning meeting at the Equestrian Center getting ready for a quick-paced 30-to-40-mile ride; a group of women from cities spanning the West coast to the East coast, embracing a healthy lifestyle and a communal desire to ride. What started several years ago as a few riders getting together a couple times a week to ride has evolved into a group that travels to new ride destinations and events. You have probably met a few of the members; they serve on boards and committees, walk the beach, kayak, play pickleball, tennis, and golf. Their most recent adventure was this April in Awendaw, where 7 of the group participated in the Coastal Cyclists 2024 Ride the Lowcountry Event, riding routes ranging from 43 to 100 miles.
