SIPOA Property Owner Survey Update

The SIPOA Property Owner Survey results provide a vibrant picture of our community. With an impressive response rate of 59.9%, we received input from 1,550 of our 2,587 households. This highlights the strong engagement and commitment of our residents.

The demographic of the respondents is predominately made up of single-family homeowners (including single family homes in associations), representing 62% of respondents. 37% of respondents own villas, condos, or townhomes, while 6% own undeveloped lots. This diversity in property ownership and living arrangements reflects the character of our island where traditional homes, more compact living spaces, and undeveloped properties contribute to our shared environment.

When it comes to age, we are rich in life experience with the majority of respondents between the ages of 60-69 (38%), and 70-79 (29%). Those aged 50-59 make up 19%, while 7% are in their 80s, 6% are in their 40’s and  1% are under age 40. Moving forward, this data will help us continue to shape our community in ways that reflect the needs and desires of everyone. Stay tuned for our next survey update, the survey report to be released to all Property Owners, and the dates for our town hall informational meetings.
