Yard Debris Update
SIPOA’s yard debris contractor has been collecting yard debris multiple days per week since Tropical Storm Debby in an effort to keep up with the increased amount of debris. The debris volume has been so large each week that they cannot collect from the entire island in a single day. This has created inconsistencies in the pickup schedule. We hope to resume a normal collection schedule beginning this week on Tuesday.
Residents are reminded that only resident-generated yard debris may be placed on the curb for pickup. Contractor-generated yard debris needs to be hauled away by the contractor.
