Seabrook Island Master Plan
SIC (Seabrook Island Club), SIPOA (Seabrook Island Property Owners Association) and the Town of Seabrook Island are working together to develop an aligned long-term Master Plan of how to best leverage the Island’s facilities, assets and services to cost-effectively meet the future needs of Seabrook Island.
To assist in the process, Kuo Dietrich Chi Architects (KDC) has been chosen as the Master Plan architect partner. Working with Wood+Partners (landscape architects and planners) and J Banks Design (interior design), this is a world class team with a long history of award-winning design throughout the low-country. One of the key reasons KDC was selected is the firm’s strong commitment to and experience with a member-centric approach to developing community master plans. The team will be on Island the Week of August 19 to start work on the project.
Regular updates will come out on Mondays, known as “Master Plan Monday.” There will be numerous opportunities for direct input and feedback as we work through the process. The Master Planning Website will be the main source of information on the project (SeabrookIslandMasterPlan.org) and will be updated on a regular basis.
