Save the Date: Mental Health Challenges November 2

Seabrook Island Village (SIV) will host its next brain health seminar, “Challenges to Your Mental Health”, focusing on maintaining mental well-being on Saturday, November 2 from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in Live Oak Hall at The Lake House.

This program was originally scheduled for Saturday, March 9, but was postponed due to inclement weather.

Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) Geriatric Psychiatrists Mary Hart Bryan and Randi Curtiss will discuss depression in older adults and maintaining mental well-being. Seabrook Island residents are invited to attend this 45-minute presentation followed by a question-and-answer session, free of charge. Seabrook Island Village, Neighbors Helping Neighbors, is a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to assisting residents to stay in their homes, maintain their independence and remain active in the community, as long as it is safe to do so.
