The Lake House
Sandy is a celebrated fine art painter living on Seabrook Island among the bird sanctuaries, wildlife and historic culture the Island and Charleston offer. She primarily works in oil on canvas and acrylic on glass.

For more than ten years her work has been featured in two of Charleston’s Fine Art galleries. Currently, her emphasis is placed at “Studio 151” Fine Arts Gallery at 175 Church Street.
Recently, Sandy has been concentrating on her commission work that involves observing and interpreting the beauty of downtown Charleston’s architectural and cultural scenes, marsh landscapes and native wildlife.


Sandy is a retired business executive, registered nurse, and recent great-grandmother. She is a long-standing member of the Seabrook Island and Charleston Artists’ Guilds. Her desire, through her paintings, is documenting the unique features of our remarkable location and culture, and sharing her talents and resources for the enjoyment and benefit of others.
