South Carolina citizens now have more time to register to vote ahead of the 2024 General Election after a court ordered the voter registration deadline be extended to October 14. The eight-day extension was ordered due to the widespread impact of Hurricane Helene.
Those who wish to vote in the 2024 General Election must register by this date online, in-person at Charleston County Board of Voter Registration and Elections (4340 Corporate Road, North Charleston), or via fax, email, or mail. To learn more, read more here.
