Election day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024. If you are planning to vote in-person, The Lake House will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm. Check your voter registration and view a sample ballot by clicking here.
If you are planning to vote early or by absentee ballot, there are a few deadlines you need to be aware of:
Early Voting
- Early voting – October 21, 2024 – November 2, 2024 (closed Sunday, October 27)
- The polling locations for early voting closest to Seabrook Island are St. John’s Episcopal Church on 3673 Maybank Highway and Essex Village Church of Christ on 736 Savage Road (off of US-17N).
If you can’t vote early, you still have time to request an absentee ballot and mail it back in or return it in person.
Absentee Ballot Deadlines
- Request ballot (received by) – by 5 :00 pm on October 25, 2024
- Return ballot by US mail (received by) – by 7:00 pm on November 5, 2024
- Return ballot in person – by 7:00 pm on November 5, 2024
When returning the absentee ballot, either by mail or in person, be sure to sign the voter’s oath and have your signature witnessed. Anyone age 18 or older can witness your signature. A notary is not necessary.
