Kiawah-Seabrook Community Meeting – The mayors of Kiawah and Seabrook Islands will host a joint community meeting on Monday, December 9, 2024, from 4:00-6:00 pm at the Kiawah Island Town Hall (4475 Betsy Kerrison Parkway). This meeting will allow community members to learn more and ask questions about the proposed Island Park Place Health & Wellness Village on Betsy Kerrison Parkway.
Pedestrian Path to Freshfields – The path will be closed intermittently for repairs December 3-10, 2024. Areas closed will be marked with “Pathway Closed” signs. For your safety, please obey all signage and do not walk or ride around the barriers.
Toys for Tots – Once again, the Town of Seabrook Island is holding a toy drive to support the Toys for Tots program. New, unwrapped toys and books may be dropped off at Town Hall between now and December 12, 2024.
2024 Holiday Extravaganza – The Town’s Holiday Extravaganza is planned for Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 4:00-7:00 pm. The food vendors will be Smash City Burgers, Pita Stroller, Roti Rolls, Krystyna’s Polish Food, Wich Cream, East Coast Chimney Cakes, and The Wandering Taps. Artisan vendors will include Scraps by Stradley Davidson (home decor) and four artists from the Seabrook Island Artist Guild. Live music will be provided by Zach Quillen of Sufferin’ Moses.
Beach Rules – The temporary beach rules have been lifted effective November 22, 2024, at 11:59 pm. Off-peak season beach rules are now in place. Click here to read the off-peak rules.
Beach Safety During Beach Renourishment Project– During low tide, from BW 1 to Cap’n Sams Inlet, please walk on the high side; from BW 1 to BW 7, walk near the water.
Exciting news! – All four EV charging stations are now up and running at Town Hall. The cost is 18 cents per kWh. The charging stations are located in the contractor parking lot to the left of Town Hall.
