The tide height on Seabrook Island reached 8.4 feet at 7:00 pm on August 20, 2025 due to the effects of Hurricane Erin offshore. This caused some erosion at boardwalk 9.
Boardwalk 9 is closed at this time as repairs are being made. We plan to have it reopened by the end of the day on August 22, 2025.
Please plan to use other beach access points until then, and thank you for your patience.
