The Charleston Symphony is back — enthusiastically launching into our 90th year with bold energy, unforgettable music, and hometown pride. Alongside audience favorites by Beethoven and Tchaikovsky, this celebratory opening concert showcases local talent, featuring our very own Principal Cellist Benjamin Mekinulov and Concertmaster Yuriy Bekker in the world premiere of a thrilling new double concerto by Charleston composer Yiorgos Vassilandonakis.
