1:00 – 3:00 pm
Gibbes Museum

The Gibbes Museum is featuring a new President’s Lecture Series by their President and CEO Alex Rich. This lecture series meets for four consecutive weeks on Tuesdays, January 27, February 3, 10, and 17.

Skip the hassle of travel and the Gibbes for this exciting art historical survey of great art museums around the world. From ancient art to modern masterpieces and everything in between, each week in this four-week global tour will explore the collections and historical touchpoints at major sites including the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York), the Louvre (Paris), the Hermitage (St. Petersburg), and the British Museum (London), with other brief sojourns along the way.

More than an expedition around the world, the President’s Lecture Series also serves as a vital fundraiser for the Gibbes as they continue on their journey to be recognized as one of the world’s great museums.
