Monday, January 19, 2026, is a state and federal holiday honoring the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. On this day, we remember his contributions to the nation and his role in the civil rights movement.
The U.S. Post Office will be closed, and there will be no mail delivery on Monday. Most banks, as well as some schools, will also be closed. In addition, the following will be closed:
- Town of Seabrook Island office will be closed on Monday, January 19.
- Seabrook Island Property Owners Association (SIPOA) offices will be closed on Monday, January 19.
- The Lake House will be open on Monday, January 19.
- Post and Computer Center will remain open on Monday, January 19.
- Vincent’s Drug Store will remain open on Monday. January 19.
- Harris Teeter will remain open on Monday, January 19.
