
The SINHG Organization is actively looking for the following positions. These are volunteer positions for a minimum of two years.

• Membership Director

Vice-President
The Vice President serves on the SINHG Board and reports to the President.
Job Overview: The Vice President is responsible for such duties as assigned and serves as acting President when necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Shall perform such duties as from time to time assigned to him or her by the President of the Board.
• Shall serve as acting President in the event of the President’s death or inability.
• Maintain master flash drive with SINHG documents.
• Recruit new board members to replace those leaving their position.
• Minimum two-year position.
• Attends all SINHG Board meetings.
Qualifications:
• Good organizational skills
• Good communications skills
• Experience with Word or other word processing program
Membership Director
The Membership Director serves on the SINHG Board and reports to the President.
Job Overview: The Membership Director is responsible for receiving membership registration forms and checks, and maintaining a current log of all members for each fiscal year.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Receives all completed membership forms and checks.
• Maintains spreadsheet of all current members.
• Delivers membership checks to Treasurer on a timely basis.
• Sends welcome notes to each new member and directs them to the SINHG website to learn about upcoming events.
• Reviews renewing membership forms to make necessary updates in spreadsheet regarding changes to member contact information.
• Sends updated membership data with Trip Coordinator, Communication Director and Volunteer Coordinators as needed.
• Backs up entire membership lists on a memory stick or external hard drive on a monthly basis.
• Collaborates with Trip Coordinator to update membership sign-up form to be included with trip registration material Fall and Spring.
• Collaborates with Communications Director in May of each year to prepare list of members whose memberships are due.
• Prints out entire membership list at the end of each fiscal year (May 31) and places in Membership binder.
• Attends all SINHG Board meetings and reports on membership status and related activities.
• Minimum two-year position.
• Attends all SINHG Board meetings.

• Experience with Excel and data management approaches
