The Gibbes Museum will again host Art Charleston, April 22-26, 2026. This is a five-day focus on the visual arts offering signature events, unique experiences, artist lectures, panel discussions, gallery walks, professional workshops, and exhibition tours led by experts. Art Charleston is our city’s premier visual arts event.
Art Charleston showcases how we interact with art in our everyday lives and the profound connection between art and our shared experience in shaping perspectives, opening dialogue, and drawing people together from all walks of life. Expect education programs and events such as:
- Art of Design, a luncheon and lecture on April 22
- Gibbes on the Street, a foodie’s delight on April 23
- Artisan Fair, a curated market of the work of local artists on April 26
- Arts and Blues Concert, celebrate the art of Leo Twiggs with the blues band, Hot Pocket on April 24.
