Seabrook Island Village (SIV) hosted an educational session, “Getting Your Affairs in Order, A Practical Approach” on March 27. Ashley Andrews, J.D. of LaFond Law, PA. facilitated the session at Seabrook’s Lake House for approximately 50 attendees. Ms. Andrews covered several important topics, including health care power of attorney, basic tax considerations, digital assets, probate vs. non-probate Assets, planning for pets, and other topics related to getting one’s affairs in order. Overall response from attendees indicated that the information provided was extremely useful and would help them organize for the future.
