CJO presents the Art of Jazz

Charleston Jazz and the Gibbes Museum of Art have announced the return of the Art of Jazz Series for summer 2026.

The annual collaboration brings together original jazz compositions inspired by works on display at the Museum, creating an experience where visual art and live music collide.

The 2026 series takes place over three evenings this summer at the Gibbes Museum, the features some of the region’s most celebrated musicians and performers. Known for its intimate atmosphere and one-of-a-kind artistic collaborations, Art of Jazz has become one of Charleston’s most popular summer concert experiences and consistently sells out quickly.

The 2026 lineup includes:

Jeremy Wolf: Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00 pm

Acclaimed bassist and composer Jeremy Wolf leads an evening of original music alongside Lee Barbour (guitar), Jonathan Lovett (piano), and Ron Wiltrout (drums).

Tyler Ross: Wednesday, July 15 at 6:00 pm

Charleston Jazz Orchestra guitarist and College of Charleston faculty member Tyler Ross brings his dynamic sound to the series with Gerald Gregory (keyboards), Jake Holwegner (bass), and David Patterson (drums).

Quiana Parler: Wednesday, August 19 at 6:00 pm

Grammy Award-winning vocalist Quiana Parler closes the series with an unforgettable performance featuring Stephen Washington (keyboards), LaVonta Green (bass), and JT Rollerson (drums).

The 2026 Art of Jazz series celebrates creativity across disciplines and offers audiences a truly multisensory experience.
