The July citation statistics reflect SIPOA’s ongoing efforts to promote safety and compliance throughout the community. Parking violations were the most common citation type, with many involving visitors or renters parking in the Oyster Catcher Community Center property owner-only parking lot. The moving citations were primarily issued for speeding, failure to stop at stop signs, and other traffic-related violations. These violations were spread over a variety of driver types, including owners, non-property owners, and contractors.
