This fall, the City of Charleston is bringing State of Our City directly to residents — five nights of community events across the city. The events will be held at West Ashley, Johns Island, Daniel Island & Cainhoy, James Island, and the Peninsula.
The meeting on Johns Island will be on Tuesday, October 6, 2026,from 5:30 – 7:00 pm at St. John’s High School.
Residents will hear directly from the Mayor, their Councilmembers, and local leaders about specific projects underway in their area: infrastructure, public safety, and quality-of-life improvements, as well as what’s ahead.
Residents will also have the chance to ask questions and speak directly with the people working on these efforts.
