Today’s Fleming Flash is a quick one to say thank you to all of our players, sponsors, volunteers, USTA and spectators for the amazing support of the tournament. We are proud to say that all of the matches were completed last night under the lights. It was unfortunate that the incoming tropical storm caused the tournament committee and USTA to alter the format of the matches and to adjust the schedule drastically to complete the matches, but the alternative was to be rained out over the weekend. Therefore, there will be no further play for this year’s Fleming Open.
The Sea Islands Habitat for Humanity raffle drawing will take place in the near future as all of the items will be secured in the Racquet Club over the weekend. When the drawing takes place, the winners will be notified based on the information on the tickets. Thank you for your support of the raffle and good luck to those who entered.
All photos will be posted over the weekend at our website, so be sure to click here to check them out.
See you next year!
