A Strong Start for Deery: Help Us Reach the Finish Line

This is Deery, a beautiful barred owl who calls the woods of Deer Point home. On October 19, the Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy (SIGSC) announced a rare opportunity to acquire and protect a vital portion of Deery’s habitat at well below market value.

By securing this land now, we can ensure it remains a natural sanctuary for local wildlife rather than being lost to development.

To protect Deery’s home, SIGSC must raise $150,000 by year end. While the community response has been great so far, we haven’t reached our goal yet. Please consider making a tax-deductible donation today. Whether $100 or $10,000, every dollar ensures this land remains a permanent refuge.

You can donate via the QR code below or by clicking the “Donate” button on our website. We use Zeffy to process our fundraising; please note that while Zeffy suggests a tip to support their platform, it is entirely optional.
