Just returned home (9:45 pm) from a “quick errand”. Left Seabrook 5:30 pm to go to Folly Road area. River Rd. was fine but Maybank, traveling over the Stono was backed up all the way to Folly Rd.! Travel time was over 2hrs to Folly. Returning at 8:20 pm wasn’t much better. I’m sure the reverse is much the same during the morning rush. If you must travel off the island, mid afternoon is a wise choice.
