Seabrooker Dr. Ryan Cook has kindly prepared the attached overview of the American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for untrained bystanders and those with formal training and education.
In addition, it outlines the resources immediately available on the Island and issues a plea for property owners to become familiar with at least Hands-Only CPR and the use of an AED. These educational activities increase the chain of survival following a cardiac arrest.
We urge all Tidelines followers to acquaint themselves with the contents of this summary, as awareness of its contents could save a life. We’ve attached it as a PDF through the link below for ease of reading, downloading, and printing.
