Coming Soon: Cooper River Bridge Run April 1

The Cooper River Bridge Run is an annual 10-kilometer (6.2 mi), one-way road-running event across the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge held in the cities of Mount Pleasant and Charleston in South Carolina, on the first Saturday in April. The Bridge Run is the only competition in South Carolina sanctioned by USA Track and Field as an elite event. Based on the number of race finishers, the event is the third-largest 10K and the fifth largest road race in the United States.

This year will mark the 46th Anniversary of the Cooper River Bridge Run. This is a race for everyone – all the way from serious runners to walkers. Mark April 1, 2023, on your calendar.

Even though the race is downtown, the Health & Wellness Expo is at the Charleston Area Convention Center in North Charleston on Thursday March 30 and Friday March 31. You can pick up your race packet there as well as see what is new in the running/walking world that the vendors and sponsors will be displaying. On race day, Marion Square is the place to be for the Finish Festival from 8:00 am until noon for entertainment, vendors, and refreshments.

The more we work our fascial system and deep tissues, the less dense and tight our bodies become as we age. Movement and stretching hydrates fascia and literally help slow the aging process.

-This series is taught by Natasha Stevens.

Chair Yoga Semi-Private – Using a chair, participants will gently mobilize their joints, stretch their muscles, learn various breath exercises, and practice mindfulness techniques.
