On Thursday, March 3rd, Seabrook Island Artist Guild president, Bob LeFevre will teach a workshop on “Improving your Perceptual Skills to Improve your Drawing”. The class is free and open to all interested Seabrookers.
Contrary to what many people think, the ability to draw does not depend on innate talent or a unique gift! In fact, you might be amazed at how well you can learn to draw by just learning and practicing some fundamental PERCEPTUAL SKILLS or, in other words, learning to see as an artist sees.
This workshop will be a hands-on class held in the Eagle’s Nest room at the Lake House on March 3 from 1 PM until approximately 4 PM. Both experienced artists and those with no experience may benefit from this workshop. Supplies you will need include drawing paper, soft eraser and drawing pencils and a desire to learn.
To register for the class call Gary Kunkelman at 484-400-4390 or e-mail him at garyk1@comcast.net Space is limited so sign up soon. Visit the guild’s website a www.seabrookislandartistguild.com to learn more about the organization and upcoming events.
