Democrat Preferential Primary Results for Seabrook Island

Here are the results for last Saturday’s Democrat Preferential Primary.
Number of Voters:                236

  •      Hillary Clinton:                      165
  •      Bernie Sanders                      70
  •      Martin O’Malley                       1
  •      Willie Wilson                            0

Note: The numbers above are the results of those voting on the machines at the Lake House.  They do not include absentee ballots, which are held as they come in by the Charleston County Election Commission.  The Commission opens and counts them on Election Day, after which the County wide absentee ballot total is added to the total results of all County precincts.

From experience and from talking to various people on the island, I would guess the Seabrook Island absentee ballots to be about 25 in number for this specific election.

  1. Wade: Go to Tidelines and find the search box in the left column under the TIDELINES heading. Type in “Republican primary” and our archived post with the results should appear.
