We admire the spunk of a recent Pittsburgh transplant who, when asked what she misses most about Steel City, replied ‘my weekly home beer delivery.’ This kind of passion was shared by a group of SINHG suds lovers who hopped aboard the brewmobiles this past Tuesday to visit three local mini-breweries: Tradesman, Holy City and Revelry. Thanks to our guides, Austin and Brent, we learned a lot about the art, science and passion inside every glass of craft beer. The trip was great fun with everyone sampling shots of IPA’s, Pilsners, Porters, Stouts—all the while dueling with pretzel sticks and getting to know each other better. Below are a few photos. The first is a group shot of everyone taken against a great ‘Holy City’ backdrop. In the second, our guide Brent is explaining the beer facts of life inside the Holy City brewery. And in the third photo, taken at Tradesman—WHOA!!! Can it be? Is that really Norm bellied up to the bar next to James?!!!
