SINHG Kayak on Chessey Creek
Early on a recent April morning, a plucky group of SINHG members armed with paddles and bug spray and led by Don Smith took off for the wilds of Walterboro. There they met their guide, Kathy Livingston of Nature Adventure Outdoors and set off for a splendid day kayaking the black waters of Chessey Creek. By all accounts it was a great paddle. The weather was picture-perfect and the scenery—with Cherokee roses in full bloom—quite lovely. We have too many photos of everyone to include them all, but below are a few of kayakers Cindy Mulligan, Claudia Porter, Robin Girardi, and Ted Henderer.
