The next event for the Patrol is the New Member Training on Saturday, April 23, from 10 AM until noon. The training will begin at the Oyster Catcher Community Center and finish up with hands-on training on the beach. In addition to new members, existing members are welcome to attend for a refresher course.
On April 30, the T-Shirt Pick-Up Party is scheduled from 10 AM until noon, also at the Oyster Catcher Community Center. Turtle Patrol members can pick up their official Turtle Patrol T-Shirts while socializing with fellow turtlers and sipping a complimentary Bloody Mary.
We begin walking the beach on Sunday, May 8 – – – naturally, it’s Mother’s Day.
