Monday, July 18th, is “Dogs with a Cause” Night Benefiting Respite Care Charleston! Respite Care Charleston provides social day programs, support groups for early stage Alzheimer’s disease, and caregiver support groups for individuals and families affected by memory disorders. Participants in our respite programs enjoy memory stimulating socialization, music therapy and gentle exercise; family caregivers benefit from a much-needed break. Respite care is a short break from caregiving, and helps support and strengthen families, allowing the continuation of care in the home.
Join us at The Joe as the Charleston Riverdogs take on the Lakewood BlueClaws at 7:05 pm! A portion of the night’s proceeds will go to Respite Care Charleston. Tickets are $10 and you may purchase them by going here: http://respitecarecharleston.org/shop/donate/ and entering “Riverdogs” in the notes section. You may also purchase tickets by calling or emailing Jennifer Hartig at 843-408-5243 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
