CCPR: Living Green Fest – September 18th

GreenLiving Green Fest

September 18, 2016 at James Island County Park

For 9 years, the Carolina Green Fair has provided the community with education and resources for protecting and preserving our natural environment. In 2016, CCPRC is expanding the festival to include more health and wellness information and activities. To more aptly represent this change, the event has been renamed as the “Living Green Fest.” We will still be offering the same programs and activities as in the past, but with the addition of resources to help us live a more healthy and happier lifestyle.

Living Green Fest features conservation and health & wellness education through fun and inventive demonstrations, interactive play and music, and education shared by experts in their field. Come celebrate good environmental stewardship, healthy living, and “being green” while enjoying food, music, and Lowcountry artisans!

The 9th annual Living Green Fest continues its mission to educate and encourage South Carolinians to use environmentally friendly products, services and technologies. As the premier festival sponsor, Charleston County’s Environmental Management Department will highlight the County’s green initiatives like recycling and composting, and also educate residents on the many offerings available to make their homes and businesses more eco-friendly.
