Adaptive Recreation Expo Weekend – September 24 & 25th
Physical fitness should be a part of life for everyone, and we want to provide all residents of the community with that opportunity. So join us for the 2nd annual Adaptive Recreation Expo weekend for a showcase of adaptive sports and leisure activities. It is the perfect avenue for those with physical limitations to try something new, rediscover a past recreational pursuit, or to just have fun! Two Days & So Many Ways to Play!
Wheels to Surf Adaptive Surfing Clinic
This unique event provides individuals with physical disabilities with an opportunity to experience surfing! Adaptive surfing staff will provide instruction and assistance in a controlled environment.

Adaptive Recreation Expo
Try a variety of adaptive sports like paddling, archery, climbing, and yoga. Visit vendors to learn about other recreation opportunities and watch wheelchair basketball and dance demonstrations.
Sunday, September 25, 12 – 5 p.m.
James Island County Park. Free with regular gate admission of $1 per person.
