Update from SI Audubon International Sustainable Communities Program

We had strong turnout for the December 8th AISCP Community Meeting.  Following an introduction by Ed Jones, VP of the SIPOA Board, about fifty Seabrookers separated into brainstorming groups to share their ideas on three of the program’s focus areas: Recreation, Infrastructure, and Housing/Planning/Zoning/Building/Development.  We gathered many useful recommendations about what our community is doing well, issues to consider, and opportunities for the future.

We plan to hold another Community Meeting in January 2017 to discuss additional focus areas, for example, Communications, Public Safety, and Environment.  Thanks to all who have helped to make the November and December meetings so productive.
