From the Seabrook Island Utility Commission

In response to all the questions regarding our November and December bills, the Utility Commission has asked us to post the following:

Dear Seabrook Island,Seabrook Island Utility Commission logo SAVE

The purpose of this letter is to explain the delay in receipt of Utility bills for the months of November and December 2016.

Late last year, our Management Company undertook the conversion and upgrade of software for the accounting and billing system, designed to improve the timing and accuracy of the service to our customers. During the conversion process, they experienced unexpected delays. As of this date, the issues have been resolved.

As a result, we have combined the November and December 2016 billing periods into a single bill to get caught up on the billing cycles for the calendar year and complete the transition to our new billing system. That billing is expected to be mailed today. Your January 2017 service period will return to the normal billing cycle.

We regret the inconvenience this delay may have caused all of our customers. We continue to strive to provide accurate and timely billing with the excellent customer service that our customers deserve and expect. Your continued patience and understanding are greatly appreciated. Please call us at 843-797-0525 if you have any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Seabrook Island Utility Commission
