SI Photo Club Presents Photographer Chris Smith April 20

On Thursday, April 20th, Chris Smith of Chris & Cami Photography will be presenting an engaging program entitled “Photographing Wildlife Around the World.”  Join Seabrook Island Photo Club for a wonderful, entertaining, and engaging evening full of inspirational images and creative photography tips.

Born and raised in the Congo, Chris became interested in photography in high school and continued his interest, obtaining a college degree in Professional Photography. He has been photographing professionally for over 20 years.  He and his wife, Cami, are a successful and highly-regarded photography team in Charleston.

They have photographed politicians (George H. W. Bush), Olympic legends (Kerri Walsh and Karch Kiraly), and Superstars (Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams).  Their client list includes companies like Google, T-Mobile, ESPN, Comcast, Sports Illustrated, Boeing, Toyota and Holiday Inn.  They have been the Official Photographers of the Volvo Car Open (Family Circle Cup) for over a decade.  Their work has been featured everywhere from local publications like Charleston Magazine to international ones such as Family Circle Magazine.

Chris Smith program Apr 2017Chris & Cami enjoy traveling and photographing wildlife around the world including leopards in Tanzania, wolves in Canada, deadly vipers in Costa Rica and toucans in Panama. Chris has always been fascinated by the amazing creatures we share our planet with and has agreed to share the many photographic skills and tricks of the trade he has learned over the years.
