The rain last night [Monday, May 22, 2017] prevented our contractor from completing the road work. They were able to mill the asphalt and prepare the area, but they were not able to pave the lanes. The plan is to finish the paving as soon as it stops raining. The work is tentatively scheduled for tonight at 9:00 PM. Lane diversions and temporary lane closures can be expected while they are paving, but they will maintain ingress and egress on and off the island. We will continue to monitor the weather and send out updates as they are available.
