Mark your calendars now! The Seabrook Island Green Space Conservancy’s first ever Green Day is scheduled for Saturday, September 23, 2017. Stop in at the Oyster Catcher Community Center between 2:00 – 2:30 pm to pick up your passport and map, which will guide you to our many Conservancy properties. A Green Space volunteer will share interesting facts at each stop and stamp your passport. Head back to the center after 4:00 pm to go through customs and enjoy the festivities.
Upon your return, you’ll have the opportunity to meet property donors, the newest members of the Conservancy as well as past Green Space Board members. It is our pleasure to honor them, as well as you – our generous community – with a celebration (which includes great food and adult beverages – have I got your attention now?) Enjoy live music by Bob Becker and get to see some of the critters we share space with on Seabrook Island, courtesy of St. Christopher’s Barrier Island Educational Program. It’s all free to our guests with your special Green Day Passports! The current board of directors has provided funding so no Conservancy donations will be used.
Don’t miss this wonderful, educational, awesome and delicious experience. See you there on September 23, 2017 at the Oyster Catcher Community Center!
