Wrap Up on the 2018 Seabrook Island Polar Bear Plunge

It was a cold, blustery day on North Beach on New Year’s Day.  The temperature hovered around 34 degrees and the wind was blowing fast.  That said, 16 hearty souls (plus 2 dogs) braved the 51 degree water and made the plunge. Thankfully a bonfire and several cups of hot chocolate warmed the bodies, hearts and souls of the intrepid 16 and all those watching and cheering.

Thanks to Nic Porter, Jamie and Van Mixson for their support of this event and thanks to all who made the plunge or cheered them on!
