The Gibbes Museum of Art is offering an Architectural Sketching class. The class will meet for two weeks on August 4 and August 11 from 10AM-1PM
Join visiting artist Alex Waggoner for a walking tour of downtown Charleston. Students will sketch architectural elements at the Museum and then explore surrounding neighborhoods.
Suggested Supplies: sketch book at least 9×12 inches (could be square or rectangular, does not have to be new); pencils lead weight 2H, HB, 4B, 6B; eraser; water (to drink, it is going to be hot in August!); walking shoes; portable chair or stool (optional)
Most supplies can be purchased at Artist and Craftsman Uptown located at 981 King Street.
